Welcome to the premier issue of Bligh Graphics' Brand Crumbs. We're serving up some tasty bits of brand strategies and ideas. We hope you find these scraps of information helpful and satisfying – motivating you to focus on the crumbs in your brand.
Look for crumbs all around you. Consider every action your company makes, a crumb. From HOW the phone is answered to HOW quickly you follow up, to HOW your proposals look. Wherever you go, you leave a trail of crumbs that clients can follow to find you. The more tasty your crumbs are, the more they'll come back for more.
So P.S. - Make a lot of yummy crumbs. Which in turn add up to a hearty dish for your audience. Think brand, think crumbs, think Brand Crumbs. Enjoy!

Crumb Topic: "Brand Audit"
We hear: "We are one company, but look and sound like TEN!"
What you can do: Act like a detective and gather all of your marketing and communication materials (sweep up the crumbs). Spread them out on a large table... pin them up on a wall... IN ONE ROOM. Look and see if there is a consistent, reinforcing image and message. Then ask the hard questions: Is this in line with our brand? Do we stand out? Is it strong? If you don't like your answers, your brand may be crumbling! Re-evaluate it. Define it.
Once your brand is defined, live it. Be true to it. Start with standard guidelines for your materials and message, and make the company's top leader the Chief of Police. Then you're ready to sprinkle your crumbs. |
